Thanksgiving has come and gone and now the holiday season will be kicking into high gear. Before the month of November comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the things we are especially grateful for this year.
Above all else, we are extremely thankful for the passion, excitement and support of the ever-growing Cleanyst community. Nothing makes our day like seeing the encouragement, positive feedback and thoughtful input from our future customers, and we have enjoyed many great days in this regard. We are also grateful to see our community’s overall passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to doing more about reducing plastic packaging waste and carbon emissions. Although our system will save money over time and provide new options for personalizing home and body care products, these are not the main reasons we developed the Cleanyst system. Indeed, we built our system to help solve the problems of plastic waste and climate change and it’s nice to hear from so many who share our concern for the future of our planet and our passion for making a positive difference when it comes to home and body care products.
In a similar vein, we are thankful to see so many leading companies and brands commit to doing more about the plastic waste problem. This movement is exemplified by the New Plastics Economy (NPE) Global Commitment, which was announced in late October. The NPE Global Commitment is a collaborative effort among 275 of the world’s leading consumer brands, retailers, recyclers, governments and non-governmental organizations, which have pledged to eradicate plastic waste and pollution. The fact that the initial signatories of the NPE Global Commitment represent 20 percent of the global plastic packaging market is especially heartening and certainly bodes well for the future.
Finally, we are thankful to be approaching the end of our initial product development journey and are extremely grateful to all of those who have supported Cleanyst along the way. This journey has taken a little longer than expected, but we know it will be worth the wait. Indeed, we are thrilled by our recent progress and should be completing our final prototype by the end of January, and launching a pre-sale campaign in time for Earth Month 2019, not to mention Spring Cleaning. In the meantime, we wish you all the very best for the upcoming holiday season and look forward to what we know will be a transformative New Year.
